How do I add a route or spot?
Use the trip-report submission form on the Trip Reports page. If the spot isn't in our directory yet, mention that in your write-up and we'll add it after a quick verification.
Can I pitch a piece for the journal?
Yes — please. Email journal@outsideadventures.co.uk with a one-paragraph pitch, a working title, and one or two links to anything you've written before. We commission, we don't accept finished pieces blind.
Do you offer custom or private trips?
For groups of six or more, yes. Email trips@outsideadventures.co.uk with rough dates, what you'd like to do, and the experience level of the group. We'll come back with a proposal within a week.
Are guided trips refundable?
Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days before departure. Full balances are refundable up to 7 days before; after that we move to a credit-on-file model.
I run a provider / school — how do we get listed?
We list providers that hold the relevant national-governing-body accreditation (BHPA, BMC, AALA etc.). Email hello@ with your accreditation, your three best routes/spots, and a couple of references.
Do you take advertising or sponsored posts?
No sponsored posts in the journal — ever. We do work with select brands on long-form gear reviews, which are paid but written independently and clearly labelled.
