Festival Wakeboarding Aqua Park (also known as the Festival Wakeboard Centre) is a cable wakeboard park in Surrey near Effingham, set on a private estate lake. It’s one of the longest-running cable parks in southern England, with a strong reputation for learner sessions and a friendly local community.
What to expect
A full-size five-tower cable with a small obstacle park. A separate beginner cable runs at slower speeds for first-time learners. The aqua park (inflatable obstacle course) runs alongside the cable on the same lake. Full kit hire is included in lesson prices. Lessons cover absolute beginners through to advanced trick coaching.
Practical notes
Open April through October. Wetsuit: 3/2 summer, 4/3 from September. Bookings via the Festival Wakeboarding website. The Surrey location means weekday-evening commuter sessions are popular — book ahead. Effingham is around 45 minutes from central London by car. Combine a wakeboarding session with a walk on the North Downs, a Box Hill viewpoint visit, or a Guildford day.
