Xtreme Wake is a cable park near Tonbridge in Kent, set on a former gravel pit in the Medway Valley. It’s a smaller, more compact venue than the bigger Surrey and Berkshire parks, with a strong local rider community and a focus on beginner-to-intermediate progression.
What to expect
A full-size cable with a small obstacle park — kicker, slider, fun-box. The beginner cable runs at slower speeds for first-time learners. Lesson packages cover absolute beginner through to advanced trick coaching. Kit hire is comprehensive: board, wetsuit, helmet, impact vest. The Medway-Valley setting is genuinely pretty; the loch-style water gives a sheltered, calm environment in most weather.
Practical notes
Open April through October. Wetsuit: 3/2 summer, 4/3 from September. Bookings via the Xtreme Wake website — weekday evenings get busy with after-work riders. Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells both have good B&B and pub options. Combine a session with a walk on the High Weald, a climbing day at Harrison’s Rocks, or a Hever Castle visit.
